- He has undertaken 15 academic research funding as PI, including 3 projects from National science fund, 1 Sub-project of national social science key project, 1 project from National Social Science Fund, 5 provincial and ministerial level projects, suchas humanities and social science projects of the Ministry of education, Ministry of culture and tourism, national tourism administration project, Guangdong soft science project, and Guangdong Social Science Fund Project.
- Additionally, Hehas participated in 15 academicresearch funding, including 1 national social science key project, 4NSFC general projects, 1 NSFC Youth Project, and 1 key research project of Guangdong Provincial Education Department
- He has presided over or participated in 17 practiceresearch projects, including tourism, regional, industrial, urban plannings.
