The century-old Sun Yat-sen University has laid a profound foundation and spiritual heritage for the development of the School of Business. The university motto handwritten by Mr. Sun Yat-sen "Study Broadly, Enquire Solicitously, Think Critically, Discern Judiciously, and Act Prudently," has been passed down through generations, inspiring and motivating generations of the School of Business to forge ahead with dedication and strive for excellence.
Our School remains steadfast in fulfilling its fundamental mission of cultivating virtue and nurturing talent. Centered on student growth and development, and guided by the "SAGE" education framework -Scientific thinking, Artistic management, Global vision, and Ethics-based entrepreneurship -the School is committed to cultivating entrepreneurs with a scientific mindset and scholars with an entrepreneurial spirit.
The School consistently upholds the principle of advancing through scientific research and academic excellence. Closely aligned with the "Four Orientations," the School focuses on three key research areas: localized business administration research grounded in the Chinese context, corporate behavior and economic risk management in the digital era, and interdisciplinary research on healthcare and management. Through deep commitment to theoretical innovation, the School continues to produce high-level research outcomes.
