The Research Results of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Accounting Reform and Development in Guangdong Province" Undertaken by the Accounting Governance System Innovation Research Team of Our School Were Officially Released
In order to scientifically plan and comprehensively guide the accounting reform and development in Guangdong Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, entrusted by Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance, the Accounting Governance System Innovation Research Team of our school undertakes the project research of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Accounting Reform and Development of Guangdong Province" (hereinafter referred to as "Plan". The research results were officially released recently.
The "Plan" comprehensively summarizes the achievements and existing problems of accounting reform and development in Guangdong Province during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, deeply analyzes the challenges and opportunities of accounting reform and development in Guangdong Province during the "14th Five-year Plan" period, and carefully considers the overall thinking and key tasks and measures of the accounting work in Guangdong Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and forms a programmatic document to guide the accounting work in Guangdong Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
The project research is a manifestation of the School of Business and the Accounting Governance System Innovation Research Team's active implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's strategic deployment of "Four Services" in higher education and focusing on "Four Orientations" in research work.
The project was led by Professor Tan Jinsong, with Professor Zhang Junsheng and Associate Professor Zheng Ying as the main authors. Cai Xiang, Cao Chunfang, Kong Xiangting, Wang Chenxi, Qi Yue, Luo Yinyan, Wang Yangrui and other faculties and students participated in the research and discussion. Since the project was approved in December 2020, the project team has been to local financial departments, enterprises, institutions and universities in eastern Guangdong, western Guangdong, northern Guangdong, the Pearl River Delta and other cities to extensively listen to opinions and suggestions through meetings, on-site research and other methods. The project lasted more than one year, and the draft was changed several times.
