The Party Committee of Our School Held the First Training Class for Young Faculties
In order to deeply study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implement the guiding principles of Xi's speech, and strengthen the training of young faculties and officials of the school, the Party Committee of the School of Business held the first training class for the backbone young faculties from October 30th to November 1st, 2021. More than 30 backbone young faculty members went to Dongjiang Officials Academy for a three-day education and training on the revolutionary theme.
On October 30th, at the opening ceremony, Comrades Zhou Jing and Zheng Guojian delivered speeches respectively, hoping that the trainees would take this training class as an opportunity to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and jointly contribute to the development of the "14th Five-year plan" of the school. Comrade Li Weiwen made a speech on behalf of the trainees.
After the opening ceremony, Shen Xiaohui - Director of the Party History Research Department of the Party School of Huizhou Municipal Committee of CPC, gave a special teaching on "The Historical Contribution of Gaotan Revolution to China's New Democratic Revolution".
On the morning of October 31st, the trainees went to the Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall of Gaotan for a visit. After that, the trainees walked to the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument of Gaotan and held a flower delivering ceremony. Everyone lined up in silence and delivered flowers. Afterwards, the trainees also visited Marlene Street to experience the revolutionary culture of the "Dongjiang Red Capital".
In the afternoon, the trainees went to Baiqing Tower, Red Army Well, Red Army Mill and Zhongdong Reorganization statues for on-site teaching. They learned to make the Red Army tea and cherished the memory of revolutionary martyrs. At last, everyone walked the Red Army road and sang the Red Army song. In the evening, the trainees organized workshops in groups around the theme of "training young faculties and officials".
On the morning of November 1st, the trainees went to Guangdong Memorial Hall of East River Column and the former site of Dongjiang Column Headquarter for on-site teaching. At the closing ceremony in the afternoon, each group reported on the workshops on "training young faculties and officials".
Through this training class, the trainees relived the revolutionary memory, carried forward the revolutionary spirit, strengthened their sense of mission, and further strengthened their confidence and determination to actively participate in education.
